My Dowsing Experience

I am a leading professional water diviner – a master dowser. I grew up with dowsing – my grandfather water-divined for Welsh farmers. I apply professional discipline and a broad range of knowledge and technical skills to problems in the field. I have been working on how to improve dowsing techniques since 1993 when I helped set up the Dowsing Research Group.

I have identified sources of water for many businesses, homes and communities in Britain, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Italy, Sweden,Tanzania and Zambia.

As the founder chair of the Dowsing Research Group I developed techniques over 15 years working with scientists and dowsers to see where science can contribute to dowsing and dowsing can help science. I was a trustee of the British Society of Dowsers for six years and chaired the water divining special interest group for two years.

I continue to serve as a founding trustee and have been chair and acting CEO for the highly successful water-and-hygiene-and-sanitation charity Village Water which has provided water to approaching 100,000 people. Village Water was awarded in 2010 runner-up to a major pan-African prize and is now recognized by larger partners such as Water Aid and Oxfam as a highly effective organisation. I wholeheartedly endorse the charity and if you are looking for a charity to adopt, you will find your donation really does make a verifiable difference out in Zambia. UNDP has stated that resources expended on water and hygiene delivers more development than on any other activity.

I have trained more than 100 dowsers in courses and workshops including well-diggers in Africa.

In 2005 I decided that after years of research and successful dowsing to start working professionally. I am able to bring technical rigour and knowledge of hydrology, geology, soil and envronmental physics, mechanical engineering, drilling, plumbing to problem-solving in the field.

Other dowsing interests are detecting leaks and other hydrological civil engineering problems.

I contribute regularly to Dowsing Today, the magazine of the British society with examples of my work – along with some musings on how dowsing works and reveals information in its unexpected ways.

Having followed the subject for 20 years, I now provide electromagnetic surveys following recommendations of Roy Riggs, Institute of Baubiologie, Bioinitiative,  Powerwatch UK, The Earthing Institute, Stetzer Electric for those with electrosensitivity.

Before this, I had a career as a consultant in some larger IT systems across Europe in the automotive, software and telecoms industries.
